You hold the Key!

hand-holding-gold-key-15113389As a being of Power, Intelligence and Love, and the Lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to Every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills. -James Allen

If you succumb to weak, negative thoughts, you become their slave and are now in the same bracket  as a foolish leader who misgoverns his “household”.  You lose control and self respect.  You now become the victim of self-sabotage.

BUT, as soon as you lasso those thoughts and bring them under subjection to the truth that establishes that law within, you then become a wise master builder who can think and see clearly, walking confidently not in intimidation or fear.  This allows you to attract and manifest the good you desire to see operate in your life.  This puts you in a position to now make wise decisions to begin rectifying your current state.  The clouds will dissipate as you set your thoughts on good things.  You will see the enemy coming from afar off.  You will recognize the tactics and nip those negative thoughts at the onset.
I can see clearly now the rain is gone, I can see all obstacles in my way…
Setting your mind on good, pure, honest, noble, meritorious, and hopeful things is a practice you must set in place on a consistent basis.  You will forever have opportunities to dwell on things that add no value to your life whatsover.  But know that through constant self-analysis and experience you will make yourself stronger and more skillful.
Be careful not to be in denial and think you have it all together and that by your own effort you have created a wealthy state.  Pride comes before a fall.  Acknowledge the one and only true and living God for all that he has given and fortified you with.
When my attitude becomes unappealing I have to ask myself “why?”  Why am I irritated, upset or easily disturbed? Understand and deal with the root cause of why you feel the way you do or why you do what you do. When you start analyzing this you will see patterns and be able to match a thought with a reaction.
Learn from your mistakes. Why do you overspend or shop without boundaries?  Why do you get upset if someone challenge your integrity?  Do you rehearse situations over and over again wondering what you could have or should have done?  Are you a people pleaser or a God pleaser?  These are just some examples of scenarios you may find to be triggers. When you are able to look from the outside in and ask why, you will become empowered with the solution.
